Rounds said the district’s proposed budget is currently about $360 million, which would include all costs to operate and manage all of its public schools. Of that, about $174 million is earmarked for operating expenses. The estimated revenues for LCPS’ upcoming fiscal year – which runs from July 1 through June 30, 2013 – are currently projected at $315 million, which includes state and federal funding sources.
