Callouts is a Final Cut Pro X plug-in that puts the power of emphasis into your hands. Callouts can be used for instructional or whimsical purposes, and they never fail to make their point.
There are a huge amount of things one can do to video using Final Cut Pro X, hereafter FCPX. One that caught my eye for education is this plug in from Ripple called “Callouts”. Does a lot of the things one would want to do make video more interesting…for examples, there’s a tutorial at the above link.
This reminded me of Kris Health Aide course, where you have perhaps a hospital room and you want to put thought bubbles by various items in the room, or perhaps emphasize with an arrow, use the magnifier…etc. They say “speech” but I think they are referring to either an image bubble or a text bubble, and not that one can add a speech component (audio) to the callout, but will need to dig deeper to find that out.
