This is a group that Kris and I learned about meeting with a psychiatric nurse I met at the NM First town hall on Health Exchanges. This is a branch of a national organization, and in our region has a lot of veteran families to support. That support is partially an educational challenge, explaining various Mental Health conditions, and how a family can be effective in dealing with them.
So there’s a big need here, and it could fit into an online training. And there are funds from the national organization to develop such. PSA will want to checkin with NAMI DAC at some point when we have a demo product to “show and tell”. So this is for future use.
