Date: Tuesday, July 17, 2012, 5:43am PDT The University of Washington will offer free online courses; the school’s first effort in Massive Open Online Courses, or MOOCs. The Seattle Times reports that the UW hasn’t decided which courses will be offered online for free, and the courses won’t initially earn students college credit.
