We were predicting something like this would be created, as there’s many niches where healthcare as a process is inadequate…and with access to internet resources, and new health care insurance options, there’s a lot for the layman to know and deal with.
Voila, the facilitator shows up. This is in Las Cruces, and I haven’t researched this nationally, but we know that some states have already developed “health care exchanges” as are provided for in the new Health Care law.
Another way to look at this is as a learning experience, guided and facilitated by “someone who knows what you need to learn”…
Maybe rather than “how to teach it to you”…we should say “how to help you learn it and use it, in the way that suits you best”…In this case, the topic is healthcare information. Which is after all, just another flavor of information.
And everyone IS different…so personalized guidance/ learning assistance makes sense, although previously not really affordable…
