LAS CRUCES – More than 230 Las Cruces parents have signed up for classes with Las Cruces Public Schools to learn about everything from GPAs to college requirements.
The first group of the district’s new Institute for Parent Engagement includes 149 Lynn Middle School parents and 81 Mayfield High School parents.
The classes aim to help parents get involved with and understand the academic side of their children’s lives.
