 The federal government is providing more than $28 million for early childhood development services in Albuquerque and other communities over the next five years.

U.S. Sen. Tom Udall announced the grants on Wednesday to a nonprofit organization and the city of Albuquerque.

HELP-New Mexico Inc., a nonprofit group, will receive more than $3 million a year to provide services to children and low-income families through the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in parts of the state.

Kris and I met with Help NM people in Las Cruces area…during ARRA BTOP etc. It might be good to check in with them again RE their upcoming programs under this grant.
