Online Economics classes… “flipped classroom” type, with videos that one can use and take a course and get a certificate upon completion… but also can incorporate into your own classes, or one can make videos and post…the DIY version… at site called Marginal Revolution University…
We might benefit if our resident Economist Gary reviewed the quality of the materials, which appear comprehensive, and possibly quite good. However, the videos are apparently powerpoint slides with voice over narration by the “professor”, who sounds like a professor , as opposed to actor trained in vocalization for video presentations… or somebody who has gotten the TED presentation training.
So, it could be more impactful if it took advantage of the many powerful media components and elements available in “high production value” videos…such as all that can be done with Final Cut Pro and green screens… as well as stuff like a SLC. Etc.
