Illustris project video is an example of how powerful a short YouTube can be for learning; here’s the recently released video simulation of a representative portion of the universe evolving from post Big Bang to present.

Also an example of the “astonishing” portion of the innovation curve we are presently said to be in…one needs a huge amount of processing power to simulate the universe evolving, not surprisingly.

Begs the question of what else we can learn about by high data level simulation…so called Big Data… which is part and parcel of moving forward with adaptive learning. Can you imagine a simulation of “learning trends” in a locale or nation, based on huge amounts of data? Or real time input into students learning experiences based on such simulations?

Our imagination is truly the most important enabling or limiting factor here…FBOW.
