Came across this article on a Catholic School district in Rochester MN, a city about the size of Las Cruces somewhat south of Minneapolis, where today’s temp is 4 degrees. One of the advantages of online learning tech mentioned in this article is that it allows students to have an “online day when there’s a ‘snow day'”. Never would have thought of that.

But generally of note because the article discusses the state of online learning as a local snapshot, and is just one in a multitude of similar snapshots we’d like to see that  represent the state of the online learning art across our nation right this minute. How representative is this Rochester MN city of the rest of the country?

Also of note, this is the segment of schools called “private schools” different both from charter schools and public schools. What’s going on in those schools in Rochester?
