NM, according to a report from PEW, has led the nation with a statewide hotline for medical information. While this is a phone line, it does generate Big Data, and one can easily imagine how such a service could “work” as an online connection for healthcare information.

The health hotline is a  good example of how learning/ education and healthcare overlap, as the hotline is really an educational or learning service that happens to be about healthcare information. How much farther would the state have to go, to offer a similar service that worked with job skills information….which we could call workforce training…online?
