This gathering of leaders in the business of OTL was held again in the first week of April in Phoenix, AZ, sponsored by Arizona State and GSV a financial services company. Seems to be one of the premiere events for OTL in the annual calendar.
Much of the event was streamed online via Lifestream, and many of the sessions and keynotes are archived for viewing here or here. Below is a talk on Millenials just because that remains a fascinating topic for many of us who don’t understand this group well. The guy does eventually come out and start talking after 60 seconds, so hang in there while the song plays.
Also, the lighting for him leaves something to be desired as he moves about the stage. Someday conferences on new tech based tools will actually master the use of those tools, but apparently not quite yet. Of course, the tools keep changing, which doesn’t make it easy. But I like the combination of a live person with a nice big slideshow area.
Phoenix might be within PSA’s range of travel, so perhaps we may attend next year.
