While it’s been noted before, bears repeating: the potential for disruption in the educational system is enormous, involves a huge chunk of the economy, and has a massive inventory of entrenched interests who have a lot to lose, and will fight change.
While “the educational establishment” has minimized most substantive change over the last 50 years, the disruptive forces at work today seem irrepressible for another 50 years.
