As we experience more and more development of cloud learning tools, the terminology and names for things keeps expanding to keep up. Here’s another new tool, suggested by Gary. Gary notes it’s being used in Bayard NM,  over near Silver City, and the Santa Rita mine.

What is a Bop?
LearnBop uses dynamic math problems, called Bops, to help teach students standards aligned math concepts.

Unlike most math problems, which start and end with one question, Bops are dynamic responding in real-time to student input.

Concepts of real time or just in time learning, and adaptive learning, and searchable resources that are immediately applicable to learning events, and DLE…these are not new to us… but seeing them implemented in particular specific ways is always a good thing.

As noted elsewhere, PSA strives to find ways to present these “core concepts” in ways that have universal applicability, but also meld into a package of cloud learning tools “in the best way possible”. So, evolution of the parts, as with LearnBop, is great, but it also requires evolution of the overall pattern that can best work with, and fold in, the other core concepts of the best DLE.
