And most everyone agrees: Some teachers know how to develop curriculum materials or can learn quickly. And many, many others don’t—or can’t.

One of the fundamental ideas behind PSA, is that in today’s world of cloud opportunities for learning, there’s an ever growing “body of knowledge and curation” involved, and it will be very difficult for many individuals and organizations to keep up with change. So PSA strives to “formulate and curate” what is needed, and help promulgate and inculcate that into specific regions.

That’s what’s behind our “What is Learning Today” project, which includes the 7 Core Elements for the best DLE.

This article talks about teachers offering materials to other teachers, and how that Core Standards roll out is involved. But it doesn’t take too much imagination to see this model as a sort of clearing house for “best methods and practices” for teaching/ learning in terms of cloud tools as well. Which is one possible  form to include in PSA future initiatives.

This is also partially the model behind LinkedIn purchasing of Lynda.com. A one stop shop for tools, and the people who have expertise.
