Unclear to this observer what the big takeaway from this might be, but it’s one of the biggest players in Cloud and computer based tools, so anything Google does is news these days.
Also the story lists in one place a fairly extensive, if not exhaustive, roster of activities now under the Alphabet umbrella. That’s useful because a) there’s a lot of them, and b) many of them are cutting edge in their field and are some indication of where we might look for innovation in the near and midterm. And probably long term too.
