As the transition to streaming continues, the FCC is moving to assist it with rules promoting apps instead of the cable tv box. As the internet can stream all sorts of content, including online learning content, such an app as FCC envisions could be, among other capabilities, a front end for LMS and CMS, and other learning platforms.
