PSA has suggested for some years now, that accreditation is one of the coming disruptors to our present educational structure. In a world where learning can happen anywhere, in myriad ways, and with more of a DIY structure and associated “avoided costs”..the biggie is how to get acknowledged as capable for employment. Leaving aside that “employment” itself is being disrupted, those who hire employees will increasingly find themselves challenged to look to other “markers” than official degrees. Who will be the accreditation gatekeepers in five or ten years?
