Sometimes those big fundamental ideas become more than just theoretical explorations. Currently, we are re-examining what is “knowledge” in the 21st century, and how our citizens should be prepared to “work” in a brave new world. We use the word “education” as if it was a seamless descriptor of all organized learning activities…but it’s not…there’s a LOT more moving parts in that word that we need to take into account.
Such as the usefulness and importance of Vocational Education, as discussed below. BTW, do we really know what that is? Are college degrees vocational?
