As we have come to expect, innovation never sleeps, but it’s not instantaneous either. While visions of all that AR and VR could be are ever-present in media sources, the hardware and software is taking some time to arrive at the “killer app” level of widespread adoption and affordability.
Microsoft’s HoloLens 2 is a step forward on that road, adding improvements of note, but still too expensive for mass adoption. But of course still exciting, and food for imagining where EdTEch, HealthCare Tech, etc are going in years ahead.
