Karen Trujillo and her experience, education, and vision being no longer employed at the state level for unclear reasons,  will now be applying herself to the problems and potentials of schools in the LCSD. Yes, there’s politics in education, and with huge budgets involved, perhaps inevitable turmoil in leadership and administration occurs. No doubt some of that “churn” is harmful to educational outcomes for students; are there ways to minimize such disruptions?

PSA wishes Karen the best in her new leadership role, and hopes to learn what her POV is on community schools among other topics.
