This sort of staggered attendance at schools, for reduced numbers at any one time, seems to be a commonplace plan in the US for the Fall for K-12. That sort of educational arrangement has been theorized as what the future holds, but was not widely implemented prior to the pandemic. One more example of changes that are “brought forward” by the current disrupted circumstances.

Blended learning as a concept has gained broad acceptance, but that’s because everyone could define “blended” according to their interests. Now we see a % being stated of roughly half and half of LFH and LFSchool. What that balance might be going forward post pandemic will likely involve conflicts of interests and a more challenging consensus as to what’s best. Best for whom?
