What to do with your 1.0 version of anything…find another use…
Along the same lines, decades ago now, the early version of the MacIntosh was a little all in one thing with a 9 inch B&W screen. Quickly replaced by a series of bigger and better versions; which then created a challenge for what to do with your now obsolete model. One wise ass, Andy Ihnatko, published plans compete with diagrams and photos of how to turn your MacIntosh into an aquarium. Just a virtual plan, not intending anyone to actually do it.

and then another interesting flip or reality occurred, the real aquariums lead to an actual screen saver, still available today, that made the screen look like an aquarium, but left the inside still fully functioning as a computer. There must be a word or concept for when that happens, but I don’t know what it is….
