Wanted an upgrade to our previous contact page.
There’s a number of plugins, but cVita has a widget with additional functions, like scheduling appointments…which seemed to require trying them out…after all, a contact page is to promote actual contacts…
Got it somewhat setup and customized a bit. Type is smaller than I would like. OK or not for you?? I’m able to change the size of the window, but not the size of the type, as yet.
So far, I have my name, phone, and email in it. Although I think my email is not available. Brings up questions about how much contact and by whom we want to have, of course.
We still have the option of setting up an email account and addresses at our Host Gator site, as well as a free 800 number. I wish there was someone who I would just say: “would you check into that and set it up for us”… well there is… but it’s yours truly for now.
Not sure how to add another, but it would be good if we can add Kris too… Anyway, we have the “free level” which we can see how we like it.
The former Contact page is still extant, now located in PSA Kitchen under Trials…at the moment.
email address would be something like kris@publicservicesalliance.org
Would be nice to have a calendar that we can share to set meetings.
The size of the type seems fine for the contact information. Do users have a reason for registering?
Wondering about the email addresses for us. Seems more professional to have a PSA email, instead of using our personal emails. If we go to a newsletter to reach our email people, we would need a PSA “from”.
I’m sure you’ve thought of all of this.
Yes, let’s incorporate you into this if at all possible. I DO have a calendar setup with my generally available times etc. at cVita, but just for me. So I just sent an email tech support request for how to set this up for two people with two schedules and two sets of contact information.
Yes, let’s do our psa.org email setup…and maybe also the 800 number. And there’s an auto newsletter we could do, that would compile latest posts from a cateory and send it out to a email list every week or two weeks… But above will have to wait in the to do queue…
The auto newsletter seems like a good way to go for those preferring email communication on relevant topics. No rush here. Just communicating ideas before they disappear.
So far, communicating in the website seems valuable for capturing and curating as we go.
