Getting a document to open in a new window and be accessible no matter what the file type or media type is a challenge…there are a lot of file types we are interested in.
Word Docs, PPT, Excel, Keynote, Pages, iBook Author, pdf, various video formats etc etc.
But where there’s a challenge to using WP, there’s often an answer. Trying out a plugin called Google Doc Embed presently but still working on getting it to work…
Below some embed codes for my, or others, referrence.
Two different plugins have today been installed and activated to support various embeds. The “WordPress Video Plugin has some instructions here. And: Every occurence of the expression [site id] (case unsensitive) will start as an embedded flash player. Replace ‘site’ with the name of the videosite and ‘id’ with the video id.
The codes below are from “Poppy’s Videos” plugin…which I don’t know how to use yet.
