Our colleague in Mexico, Gloria Bermejo, has new employment working with a Mediation training center connected with Mexican courts. That’s Mediation, not Meditation. We might recall that Chamilo is a LMS that is available to install to our HostGator site, and has some interesting features… and is open source. http://www.chamilo.org

Here’s what Gloria had to say about her present activities…and we will be looking forward to continuing the dialogue with her re DLE online…and she with us when she has a free minute. (not very many of those for her at present).
You know, I am living a wonderful time, I already got my expert license in translation and Labor Psychology, and I am just waiting for my mediator certificate exam. My job is going just great; let me share with you what I am working in: developing another course about restorative justice, preparing my boss thesis about mortgage mediation, following up the on-site courses and I took a training course about an elearning platform… Yes!
And we decide that my psychology of the conflict course would be online… imagine!!!! I will be uploading this and other courses to it… It is fantastic. Its name is Chamilo and it is very friendly. As far as we know, we are the first Training Center for mediators that has online courses in México, so hopefully it would make a great difference.
Besides this, I continue with my English classes that nowadays finish at 9:30 at night so I spend all day working… too tired but too happy.
How fun to hear from Gloria. As always, she is doing so many activities that my head spins. She is certainly a life long learner and loving it. I hope we can take advantage of her expert knowledge and skills on the PSA website.
