For now, I agree it’s probably best to use the desktop version to do Mindjet files online, as opposed to the online version accessed through a web browser. At least for the files. Clearly there’s a confusing mesh between online browser and online desktop…including the tasks etc.
Mindjet has a lot of work to do…more than we’d like to see…obviously.
It’s hard to go from desktop to in the cloud sometimes…and they are so far doing a “fair” at best job of it.
BTW, I did find the method I used to embed the read active mind map into our PSA webpage. Using the desktop version:
- Go to Export under Mindjet File menu.
- Choose the “Web” pane
- Choose HTML5 Viewer, then Next, and save it with the file name you want, and where you want.
NOTE: It is also possible to Export to Word using the web browser version. But not the other export options. As yet anyway.
Mini Tech Tip: I have a set of folders for uploading to our PSA site on my desktop…such as one for PDF, one for images, one for video, one for mind maps. And I save things there, and then in our online library at PSA, I can easily find them to upload.
Another little mindjet thing…I noticed on one of the files in the PSA/ Kris folder that there’s two Kris’s in the list of users for the file. They seem identical to me as far as email goes, but then in another area I note you are listed as Kris Witte with the MSN email address you have.
Maybe if you click on your name in the online browser mindjet window, over on the upper right, and add your second email, that might help something….
