What caught my attention here is the process of engaging users to participate in a survey originating from blog content. I actually took the survey because it had only 1 question, and the blog article was of interest to me.
Bryan Austin, Chief Game Changer and founder of Gameon! Learning, shared a blog article by Clark Quinn called “Yes You Have to Change”. The rant article ended with a call for action from learning professionals to change current practices to improve performance outcomes for learners.
Bryan Austin then posted a 1 question survey regarding the Clark Quinn article and shared the survey results in the form of a graph and comments from survey takers.
Most of the survey takers are learning professionals with a focus on performance support in training employees. The focus for Bryan Austin is on using gaming as an experience to practice a new skill for full engagement of the learner.
