One thing that hit me, however, in reading John Horrigan’s article is that we all bring our decided biases to any discussion. While I like much of what he says, he lost some credibility with me when he made the statement “Most employers only accept job applications online.” I know that this is true for large companies, but I doubt that the local construction company or beauty shop works that way (yet) and these constitute “most employers” (by number of employers, not number of employees).
