We talked about the lean start-up model as a way to “turn an idea into action.” I noticed on Linked In group, NM Information Technology Professionals, that Las Cruces is holding a Start Up Weekend promoting the culture of entrepreneurship the weekend of November 15th. I wonder what PSA could learn from this event.
You can see a video of past start-up weekends.

Admin: I’m having trouble copying and pasting links to add to a post so unable to show the video or any link using cut and paste. Any suggestions? Also the text is running out of the text box when I type.
I added one of the videos…
Here’s how:
1) find the “embed” code at the video site…often it’s accessible through “share”…then copy the “embed” code to your clipboard.
2) in the Tiny MCE above the post text entry window, find the little icon in the bottom row over towards the right that looks like a piece of movie film.
3) Click on it.
4) In the window that opens up, go to the “source” pane, and paste the embed code into the source pane window. close the pane.
5) Voila
6) one can fool around with the size but we’ll talk about that in another post/ interaction.
Not sure the nature of copy and paste difficulties, and don’t understand text running out of text box either. Hope that doesn’t persist, or that you find your way out of those…if not, we’ll do a troubleshooting skype maybe early next week.
Admin: another tech tip sort of thingie… when one forgets how to do something one used to know how to do, or otherwise needs some help on how to do something… if one goes to an old post and goes to “edit” that post…one can examine the elements to see a bit of how they were “done”.
One can also fool around and try things. Or ask Google questions, or search WP help. And Admin can try to help if necessary, via email, phone, or skype.
One more techie note: when one isn’t sure what a “TinyMCE” icon does, hover your cursor over the icon for a bit, and you should get a little explanation popup.
