See the process to add EdX certificate to LinkedIn profile page.
With more than 300 million members, LinkedIn has become a go-to professional network. Today, many HR teams and recruiters use LinkedIn as their primary tool to vet and headhunt potential candidates.
How do you make your profile stand out? 91% of successful job seekers are adding more than five skills to their profile. Adding your edX verified certificate to your page is a great way to share new skills with your professional contacts and potential employers. It only takes a few minutes.
Here are a few quick steps:
How to Share your Achievements on LinkedIn
Log into your LinkedIn profile, and go to edit profile
On the right hand side, beneath “You can also add…” press “Certifications”
Enter the Certification Name – this is the name of the course
Enter ‘edX’ as the Certification Authority and the URL at the bottom of your certificate as the “Certification URL”
Leave ‘license number’ blank and press save
Perhaps there will only be a few giant gatekeepers for digital resume of skills and knowledge and peer vetting. That would make life in a brave new world of online qualification a lot easier.
Maybe even eventually a “standard” for digital resumes… and some verification process to go through that would make our personal collections of various DLE “official”.
In the old days, we all had to rely on educational institutions for “transcripts” pretty much, if we want to verify learning. Test scores too. Now, with resources available “all over the place” we need a centralized way to aggregate our learning achievements.
