Advancing education innovation. Join us in New Orleans as we will challenge our teaching and learning paradigms, reimagine the learning experience, and ideate on how disruptions in education today will shape the innovative classroom of tomorrow.
This conference is a joint production of OLC Innovate, formerly Sloan Consortium, and something called Merlot II. Which stands for Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching. One of those tortured acronyms that draws attention to itself, such as we wonder why it’s same word as a kind of wine.
However, we can “ideate” to our heart’s content…whatever that means…is that common usage now…should that go in our tag cloud somewhere?
We may wish to attend one or more of these conferences at some point. Or rather hope to attend remotely, because there are far too many to get to physically, and it’s expensive and time consuming to travel.
We can “ideate” at a reasonable price of about $205 per person for the virtual event. Worth checking out the content of the conference as more information becomes available. A conference MOOC offered for free would be even better.
