This talk is from 2012, and through the power of exponential growth, our access to our genome and our ability to modify it has grown appreciably since this lecture. But the idea that we are always evolving is relevant in the light of understanding media…how is the media we participate changing our genotype and phenotype?
And of course the really big one, if we could do it, what should we do?
Should we try to change the genome to enhance learning? Or to enhance lots of other things like health, etc. BTW, The Twilight Zone had an episode on this back in 1963.
