Having attended New Mexico Technology in Education (NMTIE) conferences in previous years, I’m always interested in the topics for presentation. Here are suggestions for presentations to give you some idea about “professional development in the real world”.

Sounds like TIE is merging into some otherwise not previously associated areas, such as Enterprise Application Integrations, and Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Best guess is that, as PSA has learned, TIE involves a broad cross section of innovations with online tools and new media, and new ways of “doing learning”….and that means extending their reach out to how some of the tech challenges are being solved by sectors other than formal ed institutions.
And of course, enterprises have employee training and learning to accomplish…and those needs bleed into traditional learning goals. Professional development often kind of falls in between traditional ed institutions and what enterprises do for their employees. Now those interested in that can be up to date by attending TIE.
