What are the effects of this new media on “self inspection” for useful awareness of spiritual learning activities?
Many examples of “spiritual” YouTube videos and audio clips are now available for those interested in learning more about spiritual topics. Often the videos are lectures on the topic and not hands on activities for learning.
My grandson and I recently participated in a “Cosmic Kids Yoga Adventure” on Prime Video. Being a yogi now for some years, I appreciated how my grandson and I were actively doing yoga together with a kid centered yoga instructor. With an adventure background to capture our imagination, we flowed into yoga poses, focused on breathing, and considered how to enjoy the adventure. I stopped after two episodes and my grandson was still going strong after six episodes.
