Here is a national model for community schools as it operates in Washington State.  The Communities in Schools (CIS) works inside 115 Washington State schools connecting kids to caring adults and community resources.  4600 students are case managed empowering them to stay in school and achieve their life goals.  A site coordinator  works within each school to assess needs, make a plan to reach goals, and to connect to needed resources.

The model brings the needed services into the school where services are accessible, coordinated, and accountable. [gview file=”https://publicservicesalliance.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Our-Unique-Model-Communities-In-Schools-of-Washington.pdf”]
