From Brookings.edu, a report with beaucoup references on new perspectives on how to do learning post Covid19. Kudos to Gary for the link.

Due to Covid-19, the concept of the school at the center of the community is now a live experiment.
My grandson’s first grade class will learn 4 hours a day in a park, with experiential learning in a ravine by the park. Two hours of specialty classes such as music and art will happen online at home.
While this is a private school experiment, the many live experiments going on in public schools, private schools, and home schools may bring new understanding of a “community school”.
