Communities in Schools in Washington (state)

The nonprofit “Communities in Schools” fills in the gaps at affiliated schools with resources such as groceries, housing agency referrals, school supplies, clothing, etc. The model provides a full-time staffer inside schools that serves to supplement the work of counselors, social workers, and other district employees to “fill in the gaps”.

This national model seems similar to the Las Cruces community schools program.
