The A+ Solution: How America’s Professional Societies and Trade Associations Can Solve the Nation’s Workforce Skills Crisis
Citing that 16 million Americans are lacking jobs while there are 3.4 million advertised openings and millions more unadvertised vacancies that America’s employers cannot fill, this compelling polemic posits that today’s workforce lacks the qualifications required to perform the available jobs.
Well-researched and clear, this informative guide focuses on current professional societies and trade associations that offer the resources to provide skills through professional development, certification programs, career support through online centers, and peer recognition through professional networking.

The Link goes to a Google page that reviews the book, A+ Solution. I’m not sure what this book covers. Is it A+ certification for networking?
At one time while working at EPCC, I was asked to develop an A+ certification course at a lower reading level since the course reading level, about 6 grade, was too advanced for many limited English speakers. As in most courses, the best solution was a Spanish speaking instructor able to assist learners in understanding the content. At this point, I don’t remember how successful the bilingual course worked for limited English speakers. I do wonder how a course such as this could work today, with the new technology to present the content.
