I’m in the 4th week of the Carpe Diem MOOC, #CDMOOC. Here is an e-tivity I designed for my group topic: Gamification.
Designing the e-tivity template is much easier than designing an actual Jeopardy game. Perhaps the learners could develop the content for the game itself, much more learner centered and collaborative.
Yes, Kris, “Time to play a game” gets most of us interested.
Admin: I changed this from a “download link” at the bottom of the post, to our normal open PDF in another window link….using the tried and true methods we have been using for uploaded file links.
1) upload the file to the media library
2) copy the URL file link under “Attachment Display Settings” to the clipboard
3) select the text one wants to be an active link to the file
4) use the chain link button to bring up the popup window, and paste in the file link from the clipboard.
5) click in the box that says “open in a new window”
You’re done. Publish the post.
Tip: anytime one might forget how to do something, as we all do, it’s possible to open a previously done post in “edit” mode, and see how it was done, and get refreshed that way. If only that method was available for all the other things I forget how to do.
