Dr. Marina Kostina, CEO & Founder, Wired@Heart is a distance learning expert and consultant on online training programs and learning series. She believes we are wired to connect so her core business is building connections and engagement online.
Here she offers a simple solution to stop exchanging money for time madness. Dr. Marina Kostina seems to have a handle on connecting and engaging online and presenting content to benefit your business. In fact, her business just received a grant from the Department of Defense for development of online training and workshops.
PSA seeks to understand how media can impact learning. We could probably learn something from Dr. Kostina as she leverages the powerful psychology of media to reduce technology intimacy factors. I find her style somewhat too “warm and fuzzy” for me, but I admire how she is using media to bridge the gap between technology and education.
I like the topic of this post for being very germane.
Marina seemed familiar. Yes, she looks like Minnie Driver, but I had this feeling like we had encountered her before. So I eventually broke down and actually searched for her at the PSA site using our little search window. And voila….a number of posts show up with a search in our search window.
Sometimes when posting I get this nagging feeling like I already posted the information, but I don’t generally check to see, because I figure it’s just deja vu all over again. It’s actually a good thing to see that some of our posts now have followups and progressions to check in on to stay up to date on, almost three years down the road, in this case.
So we have a “fair amount on Marina” from earlier, including posts.
The first being one from Mar. 29 2012…. a low resolution YouTube with Marina.

She does “do a lot” of different stuff, which probably means she has a more comprehensive approach than many. However, saying there’s a simple solution seems pretty brash, or bold, or maybe just a “hook” to get more attention. But we are here to learn and listen to any solution, simple or not.
Her event on Feb.11 at 5m MST is on the same day I have a lengthy dental procedure, so I’ll miss her then.
Curious though to talk with her at some point. Would she Skype with us and just talk for a while? We can perhaps find out just how “warm and fuzzy” she actually is in person? =^)
