Michelle Phelan presents a math lesson to her students using @classflow, a technology tool that allows her students to work out problems on their ipads and then send them to her white board for review.
Taking technology a step further, the teacher is using periscope, an app that allows live chats and video streaming of an event.
So much technology, but what is missing? Look around the classroom. The children still are working in a 20th century classroom structure. Some of them even look quite bored since the lesson is one size fits all. The teacher mentions that she will send the lesson home to the parents using @classflow so maybe that is a strong motivation to get it right!
Of course, the teacher is probably selling @classflow so we would need more time to learn more about how the teacher is using technology to improve learning in the structure of her class. Overall, a fun glimpse into a classroom today.

Kris, I “edited” your Periscope post above to see if we could stop the automatic Twitter formatting that removed much of your text. So far it seems to be working, at least for me. All I did was to remove the “quote” function from most of what you had.
It was disappointing to lose the Periscope live broadcast. I found this link to archiving on Periscope: https://www.quora.com/Are-there-archives-of-broadcasts-on-Periscope
Seems that after 24 hours the broadcast is deleted from Periscope.
