Schools are starting up remotely in Fall 2020 for the Seattle Public Schools according this Seattle Times article. The first week of school was a soft start as students and parents set up the technology…challenged with overloaded servers, waiting on student iPads, the challenge of the district choices in learning platforms.

School started for my 7 year old grandson, attending a private school in Seattle. Class is set up in a park, with a camp chair to sit in, and a journal to write in. The small masked group of students prepare to explore the ravine by the park. Students were also given a rain suit for the daily 4 hour outdoor education program.
