Colleges may have even more remedial work to do with HS graduates, and on down the line to early childhood education .
IOW, the changes need to start now for the whole system of “prior to K- 12“… if students are going to be ready for what College might become.
One might be justified in being pessimistic about those needed changes being made in a timely manner, given the past pace and effectiveness of Educational change in the US .
And this time it’s about asking a fundamental ground up do-over for the why, what for, and how of our educational approaches.
