Prezi is a perfect tool! It passed my test…intuitive and helpful (popup windows to help with what I’m doing). I was even able to download a free music track from Tom Petty about learning and clouds. Probably, not the best choice of music since I think it might be about drugs.
I did this all in just a few hours and had fun! My only problem was the sizing of the canvas. As you can see, part of the canvas bottom is cut off. I’m thinking, this may be ok since the user can decide if they want to zoom in for more.
Learning and drugs not yet one of our Value Added propositions, but it’s certainly part of the “student” landscape, and for adult learners as well. Does an effective DLE also have to invoke lifestyle choices that support learning? Soft skills needed as pre-requisite for supporting motivation?
But that aside for now, I’m not able to “see your prezi” here….I get a message in the embed saying “Permission Denied”. Apparently I don’t have required permissions to view the page. Hmmm.
I tried copying the URL from your embed into the browser bar and accessing the link that way, and get same message as viewing through our website.
It could be that you “need” to locate a different URL to make the embed work? Or something.
Not sure what features you get with “enjoy”. I’m able to download my Prezi…if you are too perhaps you could share via DropBox…. but of course, sooner or later a workable embed is hoped for. I have the Desktop Prezi app installed too. Let me know if I can help sort this out.
Terrfic you are underway on your prezi journey. I think perhaps Gary is going on a prezi safari, at least around the block to start. Seems to me, prezi can easily be a good tool to include when building a DLE. Learning as a journey around a prezi space… can we embed a survey tool into the prezi…or an adaptive formative assessment…into the prezi?
I had the prezi set on “private” so changed it to public. Try that and let me know. We also have options for sharing by invitation if we want to keep a prezi “private”.
I was also thinking about a quiz tool on a section of this prezi: Is this and example of intrinsic or extrinsic motivation?
Now I can see it. Do you know if this means everyone at Prezi site can see it, or only those who come to this post and activate the embed through our PSA website? I note you use the embed code, so maybe that means it’s not “searchable” to public on the Prezi site.
Fun. I’m offline now until this evening, and will have more comments then.
Yes, it is viewable on a public URL since I changed it to “public”. BTW, the Prezi works great on my ipad and iphone. The entire canvas shows and is easy to navigate and zoom in.

I bought the trial “enjoy” for now.
Kris, Great you are making progress with prezi.
